Rights Of Daughters In The Fathers Property

Indian pinal code regarding the rights in the fathers property .please guide us in this context with laws
Not giving girl a share in the property is not a crime under IPC. In the absence of a will a girl gets equal share in her father's property. If you have been denied that right then you have every right to go to the court and the court shall redistribute the property accordingly.

According to the Hindu Succession Act, 1956, a son or a daughter has the first right as the Class I heirs over the self-acquired property of his or her father if he dies intestate (without leaving a will). As a coparcener, an individual also has the legal right to acquire his or her share in an ancestral property.
