Family law is very vide there are so many actions you can take against your husband first is to file a complaint under section 406/498-A of IPC and you also move court under prevention of women from domestic violence act in addition to it for maintenance you can move application under section 125 Cr p c you can also claim maintenance under domestic violence act as well

You can file domestic violence case against husband... And register FIR against husband under various sections of IPC.... Or otherwise you will file divorce petition on this ground..

hello dear questioner, you can go to court and file a case of domestic violence under domestic violence act 2005. the other way is to go to police station and register an fir under section 498-A IPC. however you didn't mention that what type of cruelty he's done to you. you can decide that you want a police action or wants a peaceful method to teach him a lesson.
