What are the documents to be submitted to the district court in Tamil Nadu to obtain the Guardianship Certificate for a mentally disabled adult person ?
Certificate is being sought by the sister who is taking care the mentally disabled person for more than 20 years..
You need to file for guardianship of the mentally ill patient by filing a petition to that effect. Person who is going to take guardianship will file the petition and it will be decided by the court. You need to provide documents from the birth certificate.
