Remedy in case boy promised to marry but now refusing

A guy proposed me and promised to marry me... But later wen I approached him about marriage.. He n his family informed my family and created a scene as if I approached him for marriage... Tey insulted me very badly...... Later I explained guys family about what he promised me..... After that the guy has switched off his phone... Non of his family members are picking the call.... Can I file a complaint
Yes you can file police complaint for breach of trust under Section.506, and 420 for cheating under I.P.C . at your jurisdictional police station and ask for justice. You have to possess some documentary proof to substantiate your allegations against the boy.

with out proof you can not file complaint. you have to prove his assurance about marriage with you. otherwise no one help you. Is any any physical relation with that boy you have not told. better u have to convince that boy to marry you. if he didnot agree leave him. choose for better life. No one can force to marriage. it is their will and wish. before choosing such person you have to think lot lot lot
