Previously the age of marriage for women was 18 years and for men it was 21 years. recently there is an amendment in law with respect to the age of marriage for womens which has been raised to 21 years. The male person should complete 21 years for marriage and only thereafter the marriage can be entered into, otherwise the said marriage will not be a valid marriage.
