As far as the law is concerned the daughters have equal rights in the ancestral property of her father and grandfather. But it will depend upon the terms and conditions written in the divorce settlement deed. You can always write down your will regarding your properties leaving nothing for the daughter/grand-daughter. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you can secure ur property from all angles legaly As such when everything is already settled she should not claim anything from you ,but in all circumstances pls make shure that you secure everything so that there is no complications latter on .

Your daughter will always have right over your property if u die intestate that means without making a will ! So making a WILL or doing a gift deed are the only options to stop your daughter getting your property in future

Within the divorce there is a provision of the minor children adoption. if both of you have the adoption right then the girl can claim her right in the ancestral property unless she has been excluded from there
