Procedure to get the share in the father's property after his demise.

I want to know what papers should i make with what points to secure our future . We are 1 brother and 2 sisters. Lady(widow) has 1 son and 1daughter. Please tell me what points shold we mention in the papers so that we are sure with our fathers property as we belong to a middle class family. A mother died in 9/04/2015 The lady has a joint family by his side who are strong enough and have much property for her children. By our side we donot have anything by our side. Pls help We are hindu

Dear client, some facts are not clear from your words. if your father alive and property is purchased by your your father your father can make a will for you and your brothers and sisters. if there is ancestral property you have to file partition suit.

I failed to understand ur query. Who is the lady you r taking about ? What is relation of her with u and ur family ? Unless u disclosed these facts how can just and proper opinion be given ? It is better to meet with relevant facts and papers/documents.
