Procedure to file for divorce and domestic violence case

16-Nov-2023 (In Family Law)
I am a housewife, married for around 5 years with a female child. My in laws have been emotionally abusive since the begining of my marriage. My husband sides with them for most matters but is occassionally nice to me too.Since the birth of my daughter fights have been increasing in household with the three of them cold shouldering me and my daughter. My husband makes me appologise to his parents for every fight we ever have in the house & sometime threatens for divorce.Since last few years he has become violent too, first time he hit me we were both arguing & yelling & he started hitting me with my daughter still in my lap.He promised never to repeat it but after about one year he did it again during an argument, first pushing me then bending and twisting my wrists in the process.I took pictures of a bruise on my wrist and kept it as evidence.Husband does not own up to any of his actions and always blames me for all problems, saying he was provoked. Can I apply divorce under DV?
