I am Harshitha from Hyderabad. I am pursuing  MBA from B school here. I am here to get some legal help. My mother remarried in 2019 after my father passed away in 2015 in a car accident. We were happy with her decision. Situation got bit meshy  now. My step father has no offspring from previous marriage.He is trying to have it now and her mom is also kind of emotionally appealing to my mom.When I talked about this with my mom,she asked me to stay out of it. But I can feel my mom is not ok with their decision.I peep into some medical report of her as well, which advice to prevent any pregnancy at this age, as it might be harmful for her.Please advice me something.I can't see my mom suffering like this. Is there a way which will prevent my step father's family to put emotional  pressure on my mom?

Hello, Subject to the contents of your query, it is recommended for you to conduct a meeting of both of your parents with a doctor and try to convince her at the personal level only, as far as legal action is concerned the expressed consent of your mother is required to take action against your step father for coercion and emotional black mail. There is very little that can be done in this case as your mother is under their influence. You can contact me if you have any other questions.

as your mom wishes to give birth to a child, you cannot prevent her from her decision. It's her legal and moral obligation to give children to her husband's dynasty. comming to your fears of health, there is her husband to look after her matters. you have no right or responsibility in this matter.
