Police verification of siblings in divorce case

A distant relative is going thru the divorce process after 10yrs of marriage. His wife had filed a complaint against all of his siblings too. One of his sisters is a widow and lives in Ghaziabad with her two sons. She was informed by her brother that police may call her neighbours in her colony to establish her credentials. nnI would like to know if all of the above is a normal procedure ? Would like to understand why police wants to call the neighbours of the siblings and verify their credentials? Is there something serious that lady should worry about?

ap ye bataye unki wife ne kin section mai complaint registerd karayi hai jo police investigation kar rahi hai unke dwara jo f .i.r ya complaint karayi gayi hai usme investigation chal raha h abhi ya bail out hai sabhi n investigation mai police neighbours ko bina unke kahe nahi bulaegi

Hello... She can go for F.I.R. quashing as she is a distant relative and she cannot be alleged for the crime... Its clear that a bad motive and intent caused this to happen so quashing of F.I.R. will be best option for her and her sons so that she can get rid of all these proceedings.... There is no such procedure of calling neighbours for cheking credentials... You can go for departmental inquiry against that... For more information kindly call or text... Thank You...
