Owner asking to vacate the property immediately

We are tenant staying from fast 6 years in the same premises, now owner came told that almost 50% extra rent or else vacate the property immediately. can you please suggest in this situation, how to act with owner, since we have 2 small kids, it is difficult to get new rental property.

you can file a suit in civil court not to evict you without due process of law and then let the owner come to court and seek enhancement or eviction order from court, you can get an immediate order from court restraining the landlord from evicting you till the case is decided which takes long time to decide.
