Query regarding Property matters:
We are two brothers and three sisters all Hindu and residing at West Bengal except for two sisters (2nd & 3rd) who stay at USA & New Zealand respectively. Both my sisters are also residents of their respective countries.
My mother expired in 1995 and my father also died in 2014.. We have inherited some properties like land, Building etc. from our parents on which there is also no known will. Most of the properties are located in West Bengal and a few are located outside WB at Haridwar, Delhi etc.All my three sisters have repeatedly said that they are not interested to claim anything in the assets of our parents and would be very pleased if the assets are shared equally or appropriated mutually by the two brothers.
We (the two brothers) have recently lined up for sale of a plot of land at Burdwan, W.B. The buyer has asked us to obtain legal heir certificate and consent from the three sisters. We have talked with the three sisters and they h
in case your sisters have agreed to relinquish their share then there is no impediment in you selling off the property. it would be most ideal if you can get a release deed made by your sisters and get the same registered. it would be most safest way to sell the properties. as a buyer one is more cautious and therefore a legal heir and consent from sisters will be equally safe and efficacious route.
