Need guidance regarding marriage issue

Before marriage my husband lied to me about him studying in Bangalore part-time, and forced me to quit my job, take up another job and move to Bangalore for him. Further, after marriage he and inlaws subject me to a lot of taunts, name calling and said i am not good enough for my husband. He used to say he is going out to dinner wirh friends but would return after a day or two only. Further they left for husband and inlaws left one day and cut all communication. After intervention from family friend, he spoke but is refusing to return home. And even now he often screams and uses derogatory words and cuts communication till i beg someone in his family or friends to put my in touch with him. He has also not helped financially during this entire time. All this has resulted in my developing a acute stress disorder and severe depression. Please let me know what to do legally regarding this behaviour.
