Need a solution for cheating partner

I was in a live in relationship with a married man for five years and had a baby with him abroad.He promised to marry me.But when my daughter was only four weeks old,he left home and never came back.I had to return to India with the baby as I had no support from him or anyone abroad. Ever since then he is not responding properly, doesn't talk much to me or to the baby.My daughter is now three years old.But he sends money every now and then. I don't know where he lives or what he does or where he works now.All I have is just watsapp contact.i don't know what to do and how to seek help.since my daughter was born abroad she's a foreign national and is on an indian entry visa here.every year I renew her visa.I wish to take her back to that country for her education.i do not have any support from anyone and raising my daughter all by myself.I would like to know in what legal ways I can proceed with my issue and what remedy I could get out of this.
