My mother in law misusing senior citizen act against my DV case

Married in 2007 and having a 13 year old son and currently staying with my husband at our ancestral home which is pagadi house but rent receipt is on my mother in law name. I have filled DV agaist her in 2019 as she was harrasing me to leave the house and she wanted to stay alone here as she was having an affair outside. Now in 2022 she has filled case under seniour citizen act and got the order from collector.,in which we have to vacate the house in 90 days. My DV is still in the court.

Hi Good Morning, In your case it seems that your mother in law harass you for several reason. as you mention that you filed dv and still case is under proceeding. so in dv act their are various section where you can claim household. in that section their are some legal remedies also available for this scenario. for more querry and details contact us and visit our website
