My maternal uncle's harrasment related issue

My maternal uncle has a only child and he is a minor but still the son and his mother treat him very worse and my maternal uncle's health is affecting so what can I do for it we tried to register FIR but the police man said that we should go to children's jail or something so please help us.

We can approach the family court and seek directions against the family members who are treating him badly. You can also approach the police and register FIR. Police cannot refuse to register FIR. If they refuse, approach the magistrate of your concerned area.
