Hi, I am from Chennai. I got married on Nov 2014 and my husband postponed baby plan due to money. Finally, I am 4 months pregnant now. But my husband left from me before 2 months and I am alone now due to misunderstanding. After that my family tried to approach him but he is not responding and his family members also not responding yet. Please advise what I need to for this situation and he is forcing me to abort the baby as well. And he is expecting some dowry from my parent’s side. Please help me to file a case for this situation. I am getting more pressure due to this and I am worrying lot whether this situation will affect my baby

If you want to live with him then then approach a court and file for restitution of conjugal rights which means you are calling your husband to live with you through court. If you feel not willing that he wanted more dowry then you may complaint at women police station

Firstly, be calm and dont get upset. During the pregnancy, you should not have any tension or pressure. It will definately affect your child and you may have health problems. Secondly, you should discuss this problem in detail, only then I give proper advice. Kindly contact me immediately. Generally you can file a petition in Family Court for restitution of conjugal rights (asking him to live with you). Also if the problem is very serious then you may have to give a police complaint for dowry harassment and other offences committed by your husband and his family members. Your position is very delicate and you need immediate help from a good Advocate. Kindly meet me urgently.,

It is needless to say that to bort the baby at this stahe is a criminal offence. You may know very well about that. If anyone insist you to abort the child you may lodge the criminal complaint against them. If your husband torture you in the name of dowry then go and give a dowry harassment case against your husband. If you don't want to give divorce then file a petition to restitution of conjugal right petition before the court of law. While the above petition is petition pending you may file the maintenance case against your husband. If you need further clarification feel free to contact me.
