My friend is 30 year old married woman recently blessed with a baby girl. She is working as a teacher in a private school. It is her arrange marriage and her in laws had put up a pharmacy store for her husband at the time of marriage. It has been 4 years now. but within these four years, her husband has made her the gurantor of all his major loans taken from various banks as a result of which large share of her salary goes in paying the instalments. In last six months, her husband's behaviour suggests that he is not very open to her regarding future plans. Being in joint family, he seems to get influenced by their thoughts who believe it is my friend's duty to support her husband. During her pregnancy also, there was no financial support or assurance from her husband. Her husband talks of going away to unknown place or outside India for a couple of years to escape out from the burden of debt. She has left her in laws home and brought back her belongings. Please guide.
