My family has put a application in policestation against me

So I have moved out of my home as I wanted to marry the person that I love I lost my job my parents used it as a weapon and put a application in policestation against me now police is calling me and asking me to put a statement I don't feel safe going to police station

Well, if you are not feeling to go to the Police Station alone, you can take me with you. Being an Advocate, I will make sure, that, the Police shall follow due procedure of law in doing Preliminary Enquiry or Investigating the case by calling you via Summons.
