Respected Sir,
Can divorce grant by lok adalat is valid ? Can person appeal further in court against divorce grant by lok adalat ? Can lok adalat exist in all districts of India kindly provide me complete contact details of lok adalat.What is procedure to file case in lok adalat ? In how much time lok adalat will give their final judgment ? How much complete expenses for divorce case in lok adalat ? After divorce grant by lok adalat can wife further challenged in court and able to register any case against husband and in-law family members.I am sikh.
Dear client,
Lok Adalat have no jurisdiction to decide the divorce petition. If both parties are agreed for divorce then you need to file divorce petition in family court under section 13 b of hindu marriage act. and it will take minimum 6 month.
