I am being mentally harrassed by my father's brother. He is in a regular basis spouting out cock and bull stories and causing rifts between my father and me.

Hello, if you are continuously being mentally harassed by your relative, you can file an application under section 12 of Domestic Violence Act before the magistrate. For further detailed discussion through consultation please feel free to contact me at any time.

If the behaviour of your husband is intolerable towards you can anytime send a complaint regarding your grievances in writing to the police station according to your jurisdiction. And if you wish to go legal and the situation is worse then you can also write for registration of FIR against him. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

You have an option to file a complaint case under section 12 of the Domestic Violence Act against your uncle provided you both are living under the same roof. Else you can issue a legal notice to him restraining him from doing all these immoral acts.

You have to tell the complete case in detail as why this is happening and what is the kind of rift being created. it is much better if you can explain your situation to an advocate in person so that they can assist you in finding an amicable solution. However for the counselling part I will suggest that you speak to your father in law and ask them to believe your end of story rather than the story created by the third party.
