we have to send legal notice to your mother for asking about your share in property If you are mother is giving notice reply to the short notice then we can make mutually partition deed offset property and if your mother is not respond then we have to file suit for partition in the court

Please classify first that whether you are a Hindu, Muslim, Christian or others. You have a right to the property of your mother being a legal heir. First of all make it very much sure that you are indeed in pursuit of a property that really belongs to you as a equal shareholder along with your brother. No matter how much your brother blackmails her but still you need to make your mother understand that there needs to be a equal division. You have various legal remedies available if things are not executed in transparency. Please elaborate your query more with the current situation at hand and your religion.
