Mother in law filed a false DV case against

me and my husband got married in Delhi under Hindu marriage act in 2016. we both reside in USA and my husband abandoned me 2018 and refused to make any contact with me. I came to india to reason with my in laws in January 2019 and my in laws tried to throw me out but i somehow persuaded them to stay. They mentally, emotionally and physically tortured me for 10 days and i reached out to Police CAW cell in an attempt to call my husband to india and try for reconciliation. After 5 meetings, 1.5 months of delay my husband now has come to india and attended one mediation meeting during which he behaved very nicely with me but didn't say a Yes/No to reconciliation but asked me to take my complaint back and say it was false. My mother in law has filed a false DV against me saying she possess threat from me and my presence is causing them mental stress and has requested my eviction from their house. What can i do?
