Mental/Psychological harassment by sister's in law

04-Oct-2023 (In Family Law)
My Christian husband and I have been constantly harass psychologically by his two married sisters with the support of his mother. Before I got married my husband's elder sister constructed a one storey building at her father's home,at that time she was already married and staying somewhere in a rented apartment with her first husband. Now that I'm married to his brother she constantly claims her right on that building and tells us through phone or through my mother in law that my husband and I have no right on that house and my mother in law also supports her daughter. Nowadays she is married to a Pakistani muslim and resides in Kuwait, she hasn't even divorce her first husband. She recently came with her 1year old kid and started claiming her right in that house. Few years back she even filed a false case against us which got resolved.Whenever we try to take step against it she along with my mother in law threaten us to put us behind bars. We are from a humble background. Please help

few clarifications are necessary ; 1. what is the religion of your in laws? 2. under which law you got married? 3. where is the property situated? 4. what kind of steps you contemplated against your sister in law? 5. what right you think your husband have in the property of your father in law? 6. what kind of false case and how was it resolved? 7. is your background not humble enough to make a living by yourself (with your husband)in a different rented or owned but separate accommodation? 8. what kind of remedy you except ? regards, Tanmoy Chattopadhyay, M.Sc (Net), LL.B (Delhi), Advocate, High Court, Calcutta.

you are simply worrying there is nothing to worry about this there are exactly two precautionery steps you need to take trust me they will come for settlement and begging before both you and your husband and you both will take an upper hand then and deal the issue. Its not that easy they cant take away your rightful demands
