What action can be taken if family member keep doing the mental harrasment throught Whatsapp messages and Status.

Well, you can lodge a Complaint before the concerned Cyber Cell against that Family Member who is causing prolonged Mental Harrasment of your's through his WhatsApp Messages and Status under the Law of Torts, under the concerned provisions of the IT Act 2000 and under the concerned provisions of the IPC, 1860.
