Legal remedy as daughter in law threaten & insult in laws

A daughter inlaw of a an old lady disturbs alot in the family. She insults her in-laws, does not cook food, curse them, and threaten to put false allegations on in-laws. Kindly tell the remedy.

You have to file civil suit against your daughter in law and you can also file criminal case against her in which you can claim your protection from your daughter in law and if your son also torture you then you can file case against him also.

The mother in law can ask her our son to shift out of the house along with his wife and family and can move to the court seeking the same remedy. It is not a legal duty of a wife to cook and do the chores of her in-laws legally. But it is a practice followed in India culture and brings harmony and love. And that one should not disturb the peace and harmony of the others. likewise mother-in-law father-in-law have no legal duty to keep their son or daughter in law in the house who is creating nuisance, cursing or harassing them you can initiate a complaint against the said daughter-in-law after collecting some evidence like video or audio recordings in police as well as in court
