Legal advice needed in the issue explained

19-Jul-2023 (In Family Law)
My fathers family is of 3 brothers and their parents are still alive. And the second brother of my father is no more. nnSo the issue is that my fathers second brother wife wants her property which she has to get for her share. So after certain talks with her, she came to a conclusion that she wants to settle the issue with a lump some amount instead of property. nnSo in regards to that she has made a family settlement deed on Rs.100 bond paper stating that she has no connection with us in terms of financial activity and once the lump sum amount is settled to her within the agreed period, she has even written down in it that, she no right on any property of the family including forefathers heir property as well. nnSo my question is that is it a vaild process which she has went through or any other action should be made in this regards to that so that we will not face issues in future.

It's better to file a petition in court for Partition, we can expect a throw back petition from herself after few days, so mean while it's better to file a partition suit in concerned jurisdiction court.

you have not mentioned wether any children of your father's deceased brother. If children are in existence and are majors no pacts among you will not bind on those children. If there is no such children are in existence, then you can enter into a settlement with her by executing a family settlement deed besides a relinquishment deed.
