Is it legal marry second cousin according to HMA?

Hi sir/mam I'm hindu from south india I would like to marry my second cousin the relationship is my mother and her mother are cousin sisters which means my grandfather and her grandfather are brothers is it possible to marry her the thing is my parents and her parents agreed for our marriage but I want to know can we proceed this marriage with our parents support if there is no legal rights also or should I marry her in USA
Both of you originate from same ancestor's and such marriage is within the prohibited degree of relationship and not permissible as per HMA.
Also don't marry within such relationship as children will be born with infirmities.

As already told, you both are sapindas and you are within the prohibited relationship and therefore you cannot marry as per the Indian laws unless your customs permits. Here the consent of the parents is not an essence. If you can able to establish that there are customs prevailing in your community, then you can marry. Even in US certain states does not permit marriage with second cousin. If you marry your second cousin, then the marriage is void ab initio, according to the marriage laws in India.
