My grandma has been keeping queen Victoria 1841 gold Mohur with her which she got from our predecessors. She decided to give it to us and we are not sure about legal rules related to such old coins. Not sure what to do with it. Is it legal to sell them? Any information would be helpful.

If you have Gold Coins and you want to convert it to cash it is perfectly legal to do it. You can go to your jeweller and get anything else in exchange of that coins or you can also demand for cash which will be the current value of gold in the market. The quantity will also matter in your case.
