Is Arya Samaj conversion certificate enough to marry under Hindu Act?
04-Feb-2025 (In Family Law)
My boyfriend is a Hindu & am a Christian. If I do a Shuddhi ceremony in Arya Samaj and get a conversion certificate, followed by a Arya Samaj marriage, after which they also give a marriage certificate. Can I use these documents to simply register our marriage legally? or do I still have to go for special marriage act?
I understand your questions so your marriage legaly registration is important so you have to take special marriage Act after that you can go with your private cermany . otherwise it is not legal so you have to aproch the court marriage first . requires documents is important like age proof photograph identity proof
Dear Sir,
There is no conclusive law has to whether Shuddhi Ceremony in Arya Samaj is legal so also marriage certificate issued by Arya Samaj is legal. You may take a chance as proposed and then if any difficulty arise you may approach High Court and get an order and thus you can save your marriage and prevent the persons who are objecting for such marriage.
