INTERIM MAINTENACE ( DV ACT) Delhi Court

Rs.25000 pm, interim maintenance (under DV ACT) (INCREASED) has been awarded by Delhi Dist Court for wife & her son 3 years old in July 2019. BUT Husband disobeyed the orders of the court. He has been paying Rs.5000 pm only since Jan., 2018. He also did not return her CAR. Next D.O.H.is in Sept. 2019. WHAT ARE THE POSSIBILITES against Husband to pay the amout? Wife & her 3 years Son depend on her RETIRED FATHER NOW.
Hello ma'am. I have perused your query. The husband in such a scenario can be arrested and prosecuted for contempt of court. Without the permission of the court he cannot unilaterally modify the amount of maintenence that he is paying to his wife. Please let me know in case you wish to discuss the matter in more detail.
