IN LAWS NOT LETTING ENTER HOME

I am married for 4 years with a child . Recently after i separated my kitchen with the in laws in the same house. I had come to my father's home when my father in law called and refused me to come home and put a condition that I would have to work in the same kitchen.My husband also called and informed the same and also added that he has left his parents home by himself.

Hello, File restitution of conjugal rights to stay again with your family, you have all rights to stay in the matrimonial home. To resolve the problem you can also approach to mediation center, professional guidance will be helpful always. Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act encompasses the provision for the restitution of conjugal rights. Jayatee

Hi,. This seems to be a case of domestic violence and cruelty. You have an option to file a complaint under section 12 of the domestic violence act and seek maintenance and compensation. You can also seek return of streedhan and right to residence.

file a case for domestic violence wherein a prayer for interim protection will also be have to prayed for also file a complaint before the local police station stating that you are not being allowed to enter your matrimonial home.
