It is unfortunate that you are facing such distressing circumstances at this stage of life. Since the property is ancestral, your children may have a legal share in it, which could be why they are stopping you from selling it without their consent. However, if you are being physically assaulted or harassed, you can file a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act and seek protection orders. Additionally, under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, you can file a complaint before the Tribunal for Maintenance. You can also approach the police station for immediate protection. It's important to gather all medical and legal documents related to your case and consult a lawyer who can help file a fresh petition or contempt petition in the High Court, highlighting the non-cooperation of police and ongoing harassment. Your safety and dignity are paramount.
