I NEED LEGAL HEIR CERTIFICATE / succession certificate

My MOTHER adopted me but this was not done on papers, She made me nominee for her policy as well. Now she is no more my mother missing in year 2002 i have police fir report COPY. After 7 year i get non traceable report by police station . she was government employee . SHE WAS UNMARIED I AM ONLY HER ODOPTED SON. MY SCHOOL CERTIFICATES AND ADHAR CARD VOTER ID MY MOTHER NAME AVAILABLE . My question is how can I GET LEGAL HEIR CERTIFICATE.

You need to apply for the same at the nearest SDM office of your area. You also need a attested affidavit which states the whole thing from starting to the end. Now days all these are done online also. For more legal assistance I am just a call away.

you come with your documents in saket court we will file application regarding this in court .Bring all the documents here .Who else is there in her family. we have apply the same before the Hon'ble court.

Hi, As per the limited information provided by you, we can file a suit in the local jurisdiction. We will be making state a party and going by the current scenario it may take 1-2 years to get succession certificates. Secondly we can also apply for legal heir for the Municipal Department which may take 4-6 months. We can have a meeting to take it further.

You can get the surviving member's certificate from SDM then you can show and submit that certificate and get your legal heir certificate done. Otherwise you can file a petition in the court regarding the same.

Legal heir certificate is issued by the SDM of your area. You need to file an application along with affidavit and NOC of all other legal heir if any. Its a simple process, or you can engage a lawyer for a convenient process.
