If that person had intimate relationship with you on the promise of marrying you and you gave consent for such relationship upon such promise then if he doesn't marry you then it's a criminal offence and you can proceed to initiate legal action against him.

intimate relationship is not at all a good thing, but i cant say yours, because i dont know your past relationship and type of relationship or commitments. your question is also not clear, i give u an answer based on my understanding, if he give any promise that he will marry you before first time intercourse, if that first time was accidental or attempted by you means, he may give that promise on that second time of intercourse. however if the above said thing was not happened means you cant claim marriage.

A physical relationship with consent will not fall any offence. It is very difficult to prove before the courts of law that he offered a marriage unless you entered any written agreement. Where both of you living together as husband and wife? Is he single or is he married? What is the present problem? Do you have records to show that you are in relationship for the last 8 years? Depending upon the evidence you have, you can lodge a criminal complaint with the Police. They will advice the man to marry you.
