I am in the process of filing for a divorce from my wife and we are currently living apart. We have a one-year-old son. I am concerned about my son's upbringing with my wife's family, especially with one of their close relatives who has contributed to the worsening of our marriage and has physically attacked me and my family. As a natural guardian of my son, can I send a legal notice to my wife's uncle and his sons to stay away from my child?

hi you could file child custody petition in court seeking custody of child saying that you had sufficient means to raise the child and staying of the child at her home will not be safe at that place of residence

As the natural guardian of your son, you are well within your rights to send a legal notice to your wife's uncle and his sons, asking them to stay away from your child. You can express your concerns about their influence on your son and the negative impact that it could have on his upbringing. You can also include in your notice any evidence that you may have of their physical attacks on you and your family, such as witness accounts, medical reports, police records, etc
