First priority should be tat try to settle outside court by filing prelitigation petitions. 2nd is tat if tat gets failed file a petitin under domestic violance act or for maintainace from him. The solution to your problem is to be decided based on the exact solution you need. If you don't want a divorce, but need only to solve the problem; by controlling your husband and mother-in-law, you can resort to filing a complaint as per domestic violence Act. If you are looking at divorce, you can approach the family court for the same alleging suppression of material facts.

Certainly, law offers you many options to seek remedy against the harassment; facts suggest that you have sufficient grounds to seek divorce as well to seek protection under Domestic Violence Act. The initiative rests with you.
