I am a Hindu girl and i am in relationship with a Muslim guy, we both are of same age that's 31yrs. We both are planning to get marry. I want to know the process of court marriage, also if i change my caste and name so do I have to do it first or after court marriage... We both live in mumbai .

Hello you can opt for marriage under special marriage Act , you have to go and get form filled for registered marriage and give one month notice and then after 30 days over you can execute marriage on any day within 90 days. You can change your caste after marriage also

you have to make an application the registrar under the special Marriage Act to get married once you get married your name automatically changed to your spouse name as per the rules. you have have to collect KYC documents Al and three witnesses
