husband's cruelty and weird behaviour.

husband is a central govt. employee, married since 20 years. last 3 to 4 years he has almost abandoned me and kids (elder son -20 years, daughter -13 years). Violent, abusive behaviour, no financial help, constant harassment and force to me to cut off relations with my ailing parents. I am forced to live separate from him. But he is portraying that I have done all this deliberate, snatched his kids from him, he gives suicidal threats to me, calls my relatives to abuse my mother. FIR done.

HELLO As per the scenario mentioned by you , you can file a case under the domestic violence act and also you can file a complaint under 498 A IPC against your husband. For more information you can contact us.

Hello madam, your case is of Domestic Violence and you should initiate this and get a protection order, maintenance from him for you and your kids, you have to file police complaint also for abusive and violent behaviour towards your family members.

It is better to go for mutual consent divorce and seek maintenance for yourself and your kids. Hope you have filed an FIR under domestic violence too. You can contact me for seeking any further legal advice.
