Firstly, it is barred by law to provide any 3rd party information under RTI Act. In this case, the husband revealing your case filed against him is an act of defamation and you can file a civil suit for defamation against him and seek compensation from the Court.

Response to the RTI Query Your husband’s RTI request may breach your privacy as per Section 8(1)(j) of the RTI Act. Inform your employer and provide accurate details about your residence and HRA claims. Defense in Divorce Case File a written statement denying allegations of cruelty, emphasizing they are false. State your willingness for reconciliation and request mediation or counseling in court. Defending Integrity Gather proof of your residence (rent agreements, utility bills, or testimonies) to counter false claims. Inform your employer that the RTI request stems from personal disputes and request discretion. Legal Remedies If harassment continues, consider filing a complaint under the Domestic Violence Act, 2005. Consult a family lawyer to handle the divorce case and professional implications effectively. Let me know if you need help drafting specific legal documents or statements.
