How to obtain a Marriage Certificate, if husband has passed away

My dad passed away in 2007 and my parents got married in 1988 and for some share certificates now my mom needs a marriage certificate . is it possible if yes how to doit

If marriage certificate not available then you can give affidavit and legal heir certificate. Based on that shares can be transferred. Nominee name might have mentioned while opening Dmat account. Please check with them.

Obtaining a back dated marriage certificate might not be possible.
However your mother can get a family member certificate issued by Revenue authorities which will clearly state that your mother was the legally wedded wife of your father.

not get it properly so better consult with an advocate personally and explain in brief and base on that you will get a proper guidelines and you need to come along with all relevant document which you have with you.
