How to initiate divorce on ground of mental torture

There's a friend of mine who is of 16 years. Her family member always​ abuses her as she is suffering from disease of Epilepsy. Her family members especially her mother always speaks why don't she dies. They usually talked about her marriage but afraid of her illness. She is very very afraid and annoyed of that and often weaps infront of me and my family members. What could be done? Please help!!!
You can file divorce before family court.your friend is suffering from epilepsy is this is known to her husband and family members. You can file divorce on ground of mental torture and also got maintenaince

She should file a criminal case against the persons who are abusing her. The criminal case can be either file before the police or the court of law. If she is married, then she can initiate divorce proceeding on the ground of mental tourture.
