How to disown father and enforce partition in joint hindu family

29-May-2023 (In Family Law)
My father never stays with me.He never comes home.comes to home very rarely (2days in a month). He treats me like a prostitute. He throws money on me and thinks i am obliged to do whatever he wants just because he gives the money.I am in mtech final year and not yet employed.I want to renounce my father and all of his property and break all ties with him.But i want to be with my mother. She has a house to her name and i live with her there at present. How can i do that without him humiliating him and my mom and little brother, let me know? It is past talking it out.I am a hindu.23 years old.I have a little brother.

Your problem needs proper guidance. Next time you pretend as if you are calling Police. This threat may work. Do not worry. In the mean time you try to search a job for you. M Tech can be completed any time. First you take job and then give him an affidavit that you have broken all relations with him.

Hello .. sorry to hear all this ..but still there is no provision in law to disown children or parents. You can make a declaration deed and publish the same.. Or you can ask your mother to get legally separated from her husband. But if you really want to get rid of such abusive father u will have to opt legal way..Thank you.
