06-May-2023 (In Family Law)
Respected Sir/Madam, I am a Hindu guy and love a Muslim girl and want to marry her. I am planning on convertong to Muslim but dont want my parents to know about it. I want to marry in court in presence of both our parents under Special Marriage Act. Also I want to marry under Muslim act in presence of only her parents. Wanted to know if I can do so.
Dear Client,
India is a secular state and anybody can practice any religion as per his/her wish. There is no problem to marry of any religion`s person as per his/her wish. As per Muslim law marriage can be performed in Mosque. As per Hindu Religion marriage can be celebrated as per Hindu Rities and ceremonies. Other Religions covered under Special Religion. There is no problem to Register marriage for any Religion. Court will have no time to perform any marriage covered under any religion.

HI
You can marry under special marriage act by making an application to Registrar of marriages (sub registrar office) at the location where the girl resides and marry after 30 days from the date of submission of application.
Since you want to marry under muslim act, you should convert to ISLAM being going through a certain set of rituals stipulated by the Qazi or Imam of your neighbouring mosque.
