Hindu husband living with other Hindu lady at Live-in since many years as Hindu wife went after one year of marriage & didn't return till today & not ready to give divorce after 22 yrs. If husband get Divorce Decree from court & pay the amount as ordered by court can he register his marriage immediately with his Live-in partner or wait for the wife to go for appeal ? If he register his marriage soon will it be illegal as her appeal will be for demand of more money ? Can she file any other case to harass the husband ?
Your question is quite academic. As per law unless the appeal period ends he can't get married with other lady and so far as maintenance is subjected, Hindu wife can claim maintenance from her ex husband unless she get married or because of exceptional circumstances proved by husband.
