Hello, I am 27 year old girl, my abusive parents are not letting me to move out they locked me in a room for the past relationships, i just want some freedom and do things own my own,nThey are not letting me to be independent just try to force me to marry, so i gone to police station but didn't help they just took some money from them and closed the matter now my parents snatched my phone (this is my relative phone) , now i feel helplessnWhat should i do legally so that parents and police didn't follow menI didn't want to file a case against my parents i just want my own freedom.

If the behaviour of your parents is intolerable towards you then you can serve them a legal notice regarding your grievances. You can also file a written complaint to the police station/CAW cell of your area. And if you wish to go legal then file a habeas corpus writ petition in high court. In such cases the aggrieved person /known person can file a Writ before the competent court of jurisdiction, particularly writ of habeus corpus and can get the relief and be free being an adult citizen.
