Can concealment of fact such as educational, job, and financial status of her and family be ground for voidable marriage? Facts concealed by girl.

Hello sir. I have perused your legal query. Concealment of any material fact such as educational qualification or job which forms the basis of consent of any party at the time of solemnisation of marriage has been recognised by Indian courts as a ground for annulment of a marriage in which case it shall be treated as void ab inito. If you feel sufficiently that a fraud has been played upon you and you have proof of same you can seek Annulment of the marriage in Hindu Marriage Act provided you have proof to support it You can discuss further details in specific as depends upon case to case facts
