The father can file a petition before the Family Court under the Guardians and Wards Act seeking visitation or shared parenting rights. Courts prioritize the best interest of the child, not parental ego. Generally, courts do not restrain grandparents unless their influence is proven harmful. However, the court can pass specific orders ensuring the father’s regular contact (calls/video calls/physical visitation) if unjustly denied by the mother.
