Girl's Parents opposing to marriage

Hi, I am 32 years male and my girlfriend Is 26 years. Her parents, especially her dad is very strict regarding getting her married and he only wants to get married to the guy he chooses. However, we are determined to get married to each other by April. For safeguarding us regarding violence or any other action taken by her father, are there any legal procedures or complaint filing that needs to be done before we do a court marriage? I don't want her father to create any issues regarding us

File a police complaint: If your girlfriend's father engages in any form of violence, criminal intimidation, or other illegal activity against you or your wife, file a police complaint immediately. This can lead to legal consequences for him.
