Dear Ma'am,
You need not go to a Arya Samaj Mandir for getting married. There are several Marriage Bureaus who arrange marriage ceremonies for a nominal amount and also issue certificates of marrriage. With their certificates, you can get your marriage registered with the Registrar of Marriages.
in fact, for registration of marriages under the Special Marriage Act, you do not even need any certificate of marriage from outside agency. There is office of Marriage Registrar in Mumbai. You both can fill a form and issue a notice of 30 days duration through the office of registrar. The regsitrar gives you a date for marriage and on the said date, you can put your signatures in the register kept with Registrar of Marriages in presence of two witnesses from each side. once you and witnesses have signed the Register, the Registrar declares solemnisation of marriage and issues a certificate of marriage. The expenses involved are nominal between Rs. 1000 - 2000. in common parlence, it is called Court Marriage. This is absolutely valid form of marriage. So, you can go ahead with any of these methods.
